It is a beautiful, luxurious, well-maintained resort. The staff was so wonderfully friendly and attentive to our every need. They learn your name after the first meeting. In particular Shaan truly tried to make us feel special. He arranged dinner reservations, drinks, explained things and always asked if he could help us in any way. He was always present with a smile and good conversation as with all the staff. Checking in was seamless. We were greeted warmly with a drink and taken to our room where everything was explained to us. The food was exceptional. Especially at the On the Rocks restaurant. We came to celebrate our anniversary and, truly, they made it so special! From the bottle of champagne and snacks on our arrival to a handwritten anniversary card, a special anniversary cake which we enjoyed for a few nights to a rose petal bubble bath. Another great touch was the small tray with a washcloth and spray water bottle and glasses of water as you are on a lounge chair at the pool or the beach

from the first moment staff catered to our needs. we had early check in and late check out! activities with snorkeling and glass bottom were great. we wish we stayed more so we would participated in painting pottery classes and stargazing etc. the room with the private pool was beautiful with nice private garden. it felt we were in heaven! the hotel had nice old statues from volcanic Rock from ancient civilization which makes it special. every view is carefully thought and every place is nicely decorated with taste.. it is worth it to stay in this hotel. is like being transported in another world... hotel is very romantic for couples and people who want to stay in tranquille environment to relax. we appreciated the absence of loud music in the bars and in the beach.

The service was incredibly....the house keepers were so attentive and offered me a maternity pillow and added nice touches to our babymoon. The rooms are super comfortable and luxurious. We had left another hotel in Mauritius due to it not being a good enough 5* and we are so glad we picked the Oberoi as it really is beautiful and just so relaxing.

Staff were attentive and helpful. The main restaurant and bar were excellent; the curry we had there was memorable. Room was spacious and had all of the appropriate amenities.
